leadership of Dr. Gladys McGarey, the 'Mother of Holistic Medicine'.

The Center
for
Community
Advancement
will house a
conscious
birthing
center that
provides
pre-conception,
prenatal
care and
birthing
services.
It will
serve as a
resource to
foster
family
sustainability
to the
community
offering a
variety of
educational
programs
including
health
education,
money
management,
parenting/grandparenting
programs,
spa services
and
nutritional
counseling.

Mountain Planning Committee
Approves Foundation’s
Re-zoning Request

Foundation
has received
unanimous
approval for
its
application
to rezone
property in
Sunnyslope
to house the
Center For
Community
Advancement.
Its
application
now goes
before the
Phoenix City
Council on
February
29th for
final
approval.
