GTMMF's Programs demonstrate LIVING medicine in practice.  People - individuals - finding within themselves their own power, and empowering communities!

INDIA PROJECT

The McGarey Foundation continues to support the children's home in Northern India that was first created by her parents more than eighty years ago. The children who live here are considered the untouchables because they were born to parent(s) with leprosy. Through Living Medicine, individuals are able to find within themselves their own power empowering themselves and the communities they serve.

AFGHANISTAN PROJECT

In rural Afghanistan, conditions are poor and medical help almost non-existent. The birth mortality rate is one of the worst in the world. The Foundation maintains the Afghani Project to help teach rural Afghani women about the birth process and how to create safer births.  Dr. Gladys traveled to Afghanistan in 2005 to begin this project and undertake the first teachings.
